Puget Sound junior sprinter Allanah Whitehall has been named the West Region Women s Track Athlete of the Year, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Wednesday.

The Puget Sound men s and women s track team opened up the outdoor season with several individual wins as it hosted the Quad Meet on Saturday afternoon.

Puget Sound is excited to announce that the new Athletics & Aquatics Center will be completed in the fall of 2016.

Allanah Whitehall doesn t settle. One month after setting a new Puget Sound record in the 60-meter dash, Whitehall broke her own record at the Seattle Pacific Final Qualifier this past weekend, crossing the finish line in 7.56 seconds.

Junior sprinter Allanah Whitehall has been named the Logger Club Logger of the Week after she set a new school record in the 60-meter dash.

Steven Branham came away with a first-place finish and several other Puget Sound track & field member performed at a high level at the UW Indoor Open on Sunday.
