Joe Cerne tallied two NWC-qualifying marks Saturday at the Spike Arlt Invite. He equaled his season-best clearance of 4.20 meters in the pole vault while running the 400 meter hurdles for the first time this year in 59.27. Puget Sound track and field next competes at the NWC Championships next Friday and Saturday.
