The 2016 Puget Sound cross country season started with a couple of top-three finishes, and it ended with an NCAA All-West Region honor.

Tori Klein earned All-West Region and the Puget Sound women's cross country team placed ninth overall during the NCAA Division-III West Region Championships on Saturday. Willamette hosted the event in Bush Park.

Tori Klein earned All-Northwest Conference First Team during the NWC Championships on Saturday, as the Puget Sound women's team finished fourth overall. The Logger men placed seventh overall as Geremia Lizier-Zmudzinski was Puget Sound's top finisher.

The Puget Sound Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) collected 6,098 pounds of food during the recent Trick-or-Can initiative.

Following a week off from competition, the Puget Sound cross country teams head to Lewis & Clark for the Pioneer Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 15.

Tori Klein placed eighth overall as the Puget Sound women's cross country team finished sixth and the men finished seventh in the Lewis & Clark Invitational at McIver State Park on Saturday.

The Puget Sound cross country teams are set to race in the 42nd Charles Bowles Willamette Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 1.

Both the Puget Sound men's and women's cross country teams placed 17th in the Charles Bowles Invitational hosted by Willamette on Saturday morning. There were 17 men's teams in the Cardinal 8k, and 20 women's teams in the Cardinal 5k.

Tori Klein and Geremia Lizier-Zmudzinski led the Puget Sound cross country teams during the Sundodger Invitational on Saturday morning, while several Loggers set personal records.
