The Puget Sound community is saddened by the loss of long-time Logger track & field and cross country assistant coach Ed Boitano, who passed away on Tuesday morning. Boitano was in his 21st season with Logger Athletics.

The Northwest Conference recently announced its 2015-16 All-Sportsmanship Team, which includes 20 Loggers. Student-athletes were selected by their respective teams and/or coaches for "displaying good sportsmanship throughout the season."
Puget Sound distance runner Tyler Shipley recently received the prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship, which he will use towards a master's degree as he pursues a career in coaching.
Tyler Shipley can add another accolade to the mantle. The senior distance runner was recently named to the Academic All-District Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
